editing
On the 28th of march we started the editing of our final film opening and have so far edited together 16 seconds of footage, to create the final edited piece, we are using two programs. Final Cut Express and Freesound.
Our group used the website; www.freesound.org to find different background noises and scary sound affects for our horror opening. We downloaded six different sound tracks which we will consider to use in our opening. We found loud bangs, quiet creepy background music, and various other sound affects when we browsed the site. We saved these downloads onto the desktop and we will be testing them by entering them into our horror opening in final cut.
Final Cut is a program to be used on Mac Computers which is a professional editing software program that means you can cut and edit all the fine, tiny little details and it also shows every frame of every second of footage. It can also allow us to add title and transitions to further improve the final production of our film.
